Simon grew up on a cattle farm in rural NSW — curious, practical, and shaped early by a life that rewarded hard work over theory. At 20 he enlisted in the Australian Army as a Helicopter Mechanic, serving for 11 years before discharging in 2022 at the rank of Corporal. His most significant discovery in uniform wasn't technical — it was what happened when he started teaching others.
Alongside his primary trade, Simon completed Combat Fitness Leader and Combat First Aider qualifications — leading fitness sessions for soldiers and instructing and assessing combat first aid in both classroom and field environments. Watching knowledge create lasting, visible change in the people around him became the most rewarding thing he'd ever done. It's the reason he went into business, and it still drives everything he does at JSC.
"Real estate is a fantastic vehicle," Simon says. "But what I actually do is share knowledge that changes lives." He leads growth, client strategy, and whole-of-portfolio planning at JSC, designing every acquisition around the Capital Compounder™ framework — and making sure every client finishes the process understanding not just what they bought, but why.
Jacob grew up on the same farm as Simon — grounded, frugal, and raised on the belief that people matter more than profit. Out of school he joined the Royal Australian Air Force, a dream he'd held since his early teens. But it didn't take long to realise a career in uniform wasn't what he truly wanted. He wanted financial freedom, his own time, and a life spent improving the lives of others.
So he threw himself into property. He read dozens of books, attended seminars, researched obsessively, and saved every dollar he could. By 22 he was already buying — starting in 2015 and rapidly working across residential, commercial, metro, regional, and different ownership structures. The trial, error, and hard-won lessons that come from actually doing it — not just reading about it — are what make him exceptional at what he does today.
Jacob is the engine behind every JSC acquisition. He sources the properties, builds the relationships, negotiates the deals, and delivers the results. He has built a reputation among agents across QLD for moving fast, being direct, and always knowing what a property is actually worth — which is why JSC clients consistently buy below what other buyers pay.
